About Me.
I’m Rachel. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a 250 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
Do you find yourself stuck in the same painful cycles — in your relationship, in your inner world, or both? Maybe you and your partner keep having the same argument, leaving you feeling disconnected, unseen, or misunderstood. Or perhaps you carry a deep sense of shame or unworthiness that shows up in the way you relate — to others and to yourself. So many of the patterns we struggle with in the present are rooted in early experiences we’ve never had the chance to fully explore or heal. Whether you're feeling lost, reactive, or simply exhausted by the weight of old wounds, this is a space to slow down, look inward, and begin to understand how the past is still shaping your present — and how to move toward something different.
As a systems thinker, I will journey alongside you as we uncover the negative coping patterns that have been holding you back from living as the most authentic version of yourself. Simply seeking change is the most important step in creating more lightness and fulfillment in your life. No issue is too big, too small, or too “silly” to seek out help.
We will uncover and honor how your coping mechanisms have kept you safe and work together to replace your limiting beliefs about yourself with truth and positivity. We will sit in your emotions and give them the space to be seen and validated. We will work together to heighten your awareness and make connections so that you can gain understanding into your experience.
I like to create a safe space for my clients that is free of judgment. I want to get to truly know you as a unique individual who’s experience is truly one of a kind. I like to bring humor and creativity into my sessions. Therapy is truly a collaborative process and I am here for all of it!
When I’m not doing therapy, I’m probably outside — hiking, rock climbing, or camping somewhere in the Colorado mountains. I love traveling with my husband (we’ve been married 10 years!), hanging out with our dog Fawn, and planning our next trip. Yoga has played a big role in my own healing and continues to be an important part of my life. I’m always learning something new and love exploring fresh ideas, places, and experiences — especially if they involve good coffee, food, and views.
