What We'll Explore
This group centers on the experience of shame — how it shows up in our thoughts, relationships, and bodies — and how we can begin to loosen its grip. Each session combines gentle, trauma-informed movement with reflective conversation. We’ll use yoga, breathwork, and grounding practices to reconnect with the body, while also creating space to explore the stories we carry about ourselves. Our focus is on cultivating curiosity and compassion, rather than fixing or changing who you are.

What to Expect
Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to connect with others in a shared healing space. You’ll be invited to grow and expand at your own pace — whether through movement, discussion, or quiet presence. Each session will include time for guided yoga practice, group reflection, and moments of stillness. This is not a performance space, but a practice space — one where you are welcome exactly as you are. You may laugh, cry, be silent, or speak — all experiences are welcome here.

The Benefits of Yoga and Group Work
Yoga helps us access parts of ourselves that talk therapy alone sometimes can’t reach. It brings us into the present moment and supports nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and body awareness. In the context of group therapy, movement becomes a shared experience — one that fosters connection, vulnerability, and mutual support. Together, these practices can soften the isolation that often accompanies anxiety, depression, and shame. Shame thrives in silence and secrecy, however, when we bring it into the open with vulnerability and compassion, its power begins to disapate. Throughout this series, you will be reminded that you are not alone in your healing and will leave with more compassion toward yourselves, your body, and others.

Who is this Group for
This group is for anyone who struggles with feelings of shame, disconnection, or self-doubt and is seeking a more compassionate relationship with themselves. If you’ve ever felt stuck in patterns of self-criticism or like you’re carrying an invisible weight, this space is here to support your healing. Whether you’re new to therapy or have years of experience, you’re welcome here. All that is asked is that you show up with curiosity and vulnerability of yourself and others. You do not need to be flexible, have yoga experience, or feel emotionally “put together” — just open to exploring how movement and mindful connection might support your growth. If you long to feel more at home in your body, more connected in community, and more at ease with yourself, this space is for you.
